What to expect during a treatment
During your first treatment you will receive a postural alignment check, which will help to identify abnormalities in posture that may be causing extra stress or restrictions upon affected muscles and joints. Range of movement in affected muscle groups will also be checked to identify mobility problems and assist in the implementation of a personalised stretching program.
Once these initial assessments and other relevant health information has been obtained, you will then receive at least 30-45 minutes of massage, relevant to your needs. At the end of the treatment, range of movement and pain assessments will be implemented to assess improvements. You will also be given a personalised aftercare and stretching program to maintain and improve conditions being treated.
All follow up treatments will include at least 1 hour of massage, along with continual assessment and stretching techniques that are relevant to your needs. You may require 3-5 treatment sessions to treat an acute injury or continual regular treatments if you have a chronic / long term problem. This treatment can be supported by combining it with other therapies, such as nutritional suppport, stress management, sound and light therapies also offered by Natural Holistics. When appropriate these additional therapies will also be provided during a treatment session.
